Thank you for this website. I have a close friend who is fighting a brave battle with brain cancer. He is just 49 years old and his name is also Greg. There were no obvious warning signs, but some indications and when it was discovered, it level 4 (GBM). Pay attention to abnormalities in your health, no matter how slight and have them checked medically. Sometimes the tests may seem unpleasant, but they can save your life. God bless all those going through cancer treatments, those in remission and of course all those that support people going through cancer.

I lost my father when I was 8 years old to this cancer. He was only 35. His younger brother died 1 year before him at age 29 and his other brother died 5 months prior to my dad at age 37. My grandmother died 2 years later. In 1988, my father's eldest brother died and in 1989 my aunt died. All from colon cancer. My cousins has been diagnosed and thankfully, the disease was caught early enough. This horrible disease has ravaged my father's side of my family and has even hit my son's generation. I am 61 years old and I have been screened for this awful disease as directed by my physician. It is preventable. Know your body and don't think because you are young that it can't happen to you. My son at 25 years old had benign polyps, thankfully, but he still must be checked regularly. Please make sure that you talk to your doctor. I realize that a lot of people do not like to talk about this but this disease is curable. Thanks for reading my post.
